I'm glad you mentioned Albarino. It's a great under-appreciated wine that goes well with seafood. I like the Nessa Albarino 2007. I buy it from a Bay Area wine shop, The Wine Club, for $10/bottle. We usually pair the Albarino with kumomoto oysters as an appetizer. It will be my post for December.

For Dungeness crab, I like a Chardonnay. I'm a big fan of Chateau St. Jean Robert Young Vineyard 2006. Available at Costco for $21.

Have a good Thanksgiving, Angela. And let me know what wines you're serving for Thanksgiving...I'm always looking for new food/wine ideas.

I was reading your article on the S.F. Chronicle about crab feast. thats great because last weekend my hubby and I had our own crab feast. And I pair the crab with a Albarino wine from Spain. You can find this wine at Trader Joes for under $15 bucks. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!!
