<description>Italian wines!!! My 2008 resoulution is to learn more about Italian wines. There are 20 wine regions in Italy and apparently more than 300 varietals.
I want to get beyond Brunello, Barolo, and Barbaresco.

I thought Amarone was a varietal but I recently learned it's actually a blend of grape varietals (Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara).

I have a lot to learn about Italian wine.
